Experienced Interior Designer – BLDR 

505Design is seeking an Experienced Interior Designer with at least 3-5 years of experience to join design team. Candidate should be able to work in a creative, high performance design firm where productivity counts and across project teams and national offices.

Capabilities and Credentials

  • Strong interior design skills with FF&A knowledge and attention to detail
  • Minimum of 3 years commercial and/or design firm experience required
  • Strong graphic presentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment on simultaneous projects, stay involved, be self-driven, reliable, focused
  • Accredited degree in Interior Design or Architecture with emphasis in Interior Design

Project Architect/Manager - CLT, BLDR

We are seeking a licensed architect with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience and the ability to develop and execute design concepts. Experience advancing projects through design documentation and construction administration, a working knowledge of building codes, and coordinating client / consultant relationships is required.  Proficiency in Revit that includes experience in each phase of design is required.  Proficiency in Sketch Up, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred, experience with Mac OS X is a plus.

Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for design, exceptional communication skills, and experience in the development, documentation, and implementation of mixed use and retail projects. Sense of humor and the ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously is a must.

Entry Level Graphic Designer - BLDR

505Design is seeking an  entry-level graphic designer to collaborate with marketing coordination and assist our environmental graphic design team. The designer in this position will work closely with our marketing team to help build marketing and branding collateral. This person will also collaborate on various environmental graphic design projects in all phases from conceptual development through implementation.

 Ideal candidate should have:

  • Strong conceptual, typographic, and problem-solving skills
  • Keen eye for design
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent writing and communication skills

Construction Project Manager – CLT

The Construction Project Manager is an experienced professional with the primary responsibility to deliver projects through Construction Phase Services on-time and on-budget. The Construction Project Manager will collaborate with the Designer, Project Architect and Project Manager on clear project objectives, design intent, contract scope and schedule. Utilizing strong communication and negotiation skills and possessing the ability to organize construction-related correspondence between all project-related consultants and team members is essential.

Capabilities and Credentials:

  • An accredited degree in Architecture and/or Construction Science Management is a plus
  • Working knowledge of building/accessibility codes, construction means and methods in a variety of construction typologies including retail, office, mixed-use and residential
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in construction project management
  • Proficient organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and administer tasks on multiple projects concurrently
  • Leaderships skills and ability to foster client and consultant relationships
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft OS, Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and construction management software; i.e., Procore and e-Builder, or the like is required

 High-Level Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire Construction Phase Services process including: development of project specifications, review of RFI’s and shop drawing submittals, weekly coordination meetings, field observation report, punch list and project closeout
  • Manage communication and problem-solving between project team, clients, vendors, contractors and consultants to resolve construction related issues as necessary
  • Assist/Lead in Quality Analysis and Control reviews with a particular emphasis in evaluating constructability and value-engineering opportunities
  • Assist/Lead coordination of permitting requirements for building permit sets
  • Track financial performance of projects for success
  • Travel to construction sites for regular meetings with the Owner/Client and Construction team
    • Out-of-state travel will be required approximately 50% of the time
