Domain Townhomes is a project located in the South End of Charlotte, North Carolina and consists of 20 townhomes that offer a chance to purchase a home in the heart of the South End. Each townhome consists of 1,110 sf with 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bath, and 1 car garage. The style leans towards the industrial in the overall simple shaping of the buildings with shed roof forms and each townhome unique. Distinct touches of steel at the balconies and entry canopies paired with two unique window and balcony experiences at the living rooms and master bedrooms do provide a sense of individuality to the townhomes. You can identify your townhome as your own.

Construction is slated to start in January 2018 with owners moving in at the end of 2018.

505Design Associate Samantha “Sam” Buell was selected as a recipient of ICSC Centerbuild’s 20 Under 40 awards program, which recognizes young architects and retail industry leaders showing leadership to their firms and communities. Sam exemplifies the characteristics of a true leader, her curiosity and desire to understand the essence of a place is intoxicating to those around her. Sam has been with 505Design for over three years and we wish her a heartfelt congratulations on her prestigious award.

Dadeland Mall won a commendation in the ICSC 2015 U.S. Design and Development Awards. This is an honor given to the country’s most innovative properties during ICSC’s 2015 CenterBuild Conference recognizing excellence, innovation, and creativity in the U.S. retail real estate industry. Dadeland’s Kendall Wing is inspired by the cool contemporary qualities of a Miami Modern Art Gallery, where shoppers are patrons and the luxurious products in the tenant storefront windows are the framed art.  An inviting outdoor dining terrace is evocative of the qualities of Ocean Drive at South Beach and serves as a social gathering place for shoppers to relax and refresh, extending the visits of a diverse market from the affluent to the mainstream shopper.

Our partners participated in several roundtable discussions including “Growing A Design Firm”. John Ward, CDP moderated the “Don’t Get Cast Away: Strategies for Successful Island Retail Developments” case studies. We had a great time at Centerbuild 2015 and are looking forward to Recon 2016!
